THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for bringing the BIBIS food experience to life. This include prepping, plating, and executing service across events and catering. This is a frontline role for someone who thrives under pressure, owns their section, and delivers consistently high standards every time.
You’ll work closely with the Kitchen Operations Manager and wider events team to prep, plate, and serve food on the day, whether on-site at an activation, or behind the scenes in the kitchen. You’ll also help lead casual crew during service, manage plating quality and timing, and take responsibility for clean down and hygiene.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their food, their prep, and their leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Prep & Execution

Follow BIBIS recipes and portion standards exactly

Prep key ingredients (puff puff, rice, beans, meat, plantains, sauces) to spec

Ensure food is cooked, stored, and held at correct temperatures

Maintain food quality and reduce waste
Plating & Service

Plate meals to BIBIS presentation standards

Run food stations or service points during events

Communicate with team to stay on time and on target

Adapt quickly to last-minute changes or rushes
Kitchen Leadership

Lead small casual teams during service when needed

Delegate and coordinate during high-volume service

Keep kitchen and service areas clean, safe, and flowing smoothly
Clean Down & Compliance

Clean your bench and the whole kitchen

Submit post-service checklists and kitchen photos

Follow hygiene standards and food safety requirements at all times
RESULTS

$32.27 per hour + performance bonuses
